We knew ye' well, Malubeth

Hundreds of unskilled ESO players run around in panic today as the Zenimax Online Studios Community Manager, Gina Bruno, announces the imminent nerf of the Undaunted set known as "Malubeth" on Monday 1st, 2016.
For a long time now this two-piece set was over-performing in Cyrodiil, causing chaos, hate tells, rage quits, and many Templar re-rolls.
Earlier today we interviewed a distressed player who wears Malubeth to see what he thought about the situation.

I mean, yeah, obviously this set was broken. Terrible players like myself used Malubeth as a crutch to make up for our lack of skill. I could literally lay on the ground taking a beating while this magnificent set kept me alive the entire time. I'm extremely upset about the upcoming nerf, and when that happens I will no longer be able to compete in PvP because all of my "skill" came from a broken set, so I will probably just go back to playing Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh.

We spoke to several Malubeth users who roughly said the same thing. Our reporters have discovered that around 80% of the ESO PvP population was utilising Malubeth, and only a handful of those were actually competent players.
Crutch sets like this are unwelcome in competitive environments, so many people are looking forward to Monday's update.
"Once this happens we will likely see a massive decline in Malubeth's usage", our ESO-specialist Tom Tucker reports.

  1. It's truly bigoted to refer to even an item in a game as a crutch. Have you ever known anyone to use a crutch who didn't need one to get around? I've had to use them for over 50 years because, at age 16, my right leg, hip and pelvis were removed to save my life from cancer. How do you suppose I should have gotten around all these years - hopping on one foot?
